About this scholarship:
Established in 2025 by gifts from Mrs Dymphna Muir and Alumni Friends in honour of Dr Chris Muir, former president of Alumni Friends. Alumni Friends dates back to 1967, when UQ sponsored the formation of an association to foster relationships with UQ alumni. Operated by a large group of volunteers, Alumni Friends of The University of Queensland Inc. and its special interest groups contributed significantly to UQ’s continued growth and development through supporting UQ students, researchers and educators.
