Eligibility:

You’re eligible if you:

can demonstrate financial need; and
submit a completed application to the Faculty of Science, by the closing date; and
are a domestic student in accordance with The University’s Fee Policy; and
are enrolled full-time in an Approved program.

Selection criteria:

The scholarship application is assessed on the basis of:

evidence of financial need
a written personal statement demonstrating personal hardship and personal qualities.
evidence of leadership and/or leadership aspirations.
overall academic performance in the Approved program to date.
receipt of another scholarship that the Associate Dean considers similar; and
any other matter that the Associate Dean considers relevant for selection.

About this scholarship:

Established in 2017 by the Faculty of Science Executive Dean to provide greater access to students interested in studying Science at UQ. Funded by donations which are matched by the Faculty of Science
