The Department of Finance at the Copenhagen Business School invites applications for a PhD scholarship in statistics.
The Department of Finance carries out research and teaching in a wide range of financial topics but also includes the Center of Statistics as an integrated part of the department. The Center for Statistics is responsible for research and teaching in probability theory and statistics and the application of these subjects within business economics.
About the program
The three-year PhD program at CBS allows students to conduct research under the supervision of CBS professors. Additionally, the program is highly international, and students must participate in international research conferences and to spend time abroad as a visiting PhD student. Also, students must actively participate in the Departments research activities, such as seminars and conferences organized by the Department.
