Arthritis Society Graduate PhD Salary Award is now open for the academic session 2024/2025 at the University of British Columbia (UBC). All interested candidates are encourage to apply for this funding programme.

The funding program aims to support graduate students pursuing full-time research training in areas directly relevant to arthritis, aligning with The Arthritis Society’s comprehensive 5-year research strategic plan.  The program provides 50% of the salary award to successful applicants.The University of British Columbia (UBC) is a renowned institution located in Vancouver, Canada, known for its commitment to excellence in education, research, and innovation. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Open to all nationalities
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: The scholarship will be awarded in any subject offered by the university
  • Admissible Criteria: Applicants must meet the following criteria:
  • Undertaking full-time research training in an area directly relevant to arthritis
  • Align with The Arthritis Society’s 5-year research strategic plan
  • 50% of the award funding must come from partners or existing research agency grant

Offered Benefits

Successful applicants will receive an annual salary award of $21,000, with 50% of the funding provided by The Arthritis Society. The remaining 50% must come from partner organizations or existing research agency grants.
