Eligibility criteria

• Age: There is no age limit for applicants.
• Thesis Duration: The scholarship is available to students enrolled in a thesis for less than 2 years at an Algerian university.
• Fields of Study: Only the fields of French teaching, French-speaking literature, and language sciences are eligible.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in the French language is mandatory for applicants.
• Nationality: Candidates with French nationality (including dual nationals) are not eligible to apply.
• Other Conditions: The scholarship cannot be combined with any other scholarship or allowance. The evaluation of applications will be conducted by an external jury of academics specializing in the relevant fields.

The application process involves submitting an electronic file containing the following documents:

• A CV (maximum 2 pages)
• Duly completed application form in Excel format
• Research project description (maximum 2 pages)
• Letter of support from the thesis director in Algeria
• Letter from a French teacher authorized to supervise research, co-signed by the director of the thesis laboratory

Selection process

An external jury of academics specializing in the fields concerned will evaluate the applications. Successful candidates will be notified individually, and they can start their mobility between October 1 and December 31, 2024.
