Program overview

It has been in place since the academic year 2019/2020, with recipients of study grants participating in ERASMUS+ study mobilities abroad now eligible for the full ERASMUS+ grant in addition to this financial aid.

Benefits and funding

The program offers a monthly support of €160 or €276, depending on the recipient's grant category. For mobility to France, travel expense support is provided at €197.

Study levels covered are: Bachelor, Master, Doctorate.

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible, you must:

  • Be a student already receiving a study grant (Studienbeihilfe)
  • Have started your Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) before the age of 33
  • Have started your Master's degree or combined master-doctoral program before the age of 38

The reference date is the beginning of each semester.
