Program Overview

The France Excellence Scholarships provide a unique opportunity for Macedonian students to pursue Master's degrees in France, in fields that are priority areas for the country's development. This program is funded by the French government and aims to strengthen cultural and economic ties between North Macedonia and France.

Benefits and Funding

The scholarships cover registration fees for public institutions, as well as training or tuition fees. Recipients receive a monthly living allowance of 860 euros per month.

Study Areas and Levels

The eligible study areas are: Agriculture - Food Industry, Architecture, Urban Planning and Land Management, Arts, Culture, Design and Fashion, Biology, Chemistry, Communication and Journalism, Law, Environment and Earth Sciences, Computer Science, Languages and Literature, Management, Finance and Commerce, Mathematics, Physics, Health and Social Professions, Education Sciences, Engineering Sciences, Economic and Political Sciences, Human and Social Sciences, Sports, Tourism, Hospitality and Catering, Transport and Logistics.

The eligible study levels are Master's 1 and 2.

Eligibility Criteria

• Macedonian Citizenship
• Age below 30 years old (with priority given to candidates under 25)
• Priority for French-language courses, but applications for specific English-taught courses can be considered for students with an excellent academic record.
• Targeted Levels: Master's
• Priority Areas: Agriculture, Architecture, Communication, Law, Environment, Computer Science, Languages, Management, Health, Human and Social Sciences
• Language Requirement: French language level B2 recommended for candidates applying to French-taught courses

How to Apply

To apply, you must submit a complete application package that includes:

• Scholarship Application Form
• Photocopy of an identity document (passport or ID card)
• Pre-enrollment Certificate for Master's studies
• Transcript and copy of the last degree obtained (with French translation if necessary)
• Letter of recommendation from a professor

Selection Process
