The grants from the Discretionary Fund are non-repayable supplements to your regular student aid, like student loans. You may qualify for funding from the fund whether you are a home student or if you are from elsewhere in the United Kingdom.
Eligibility Criteria of the Award:
- Applicants must be domiciled in the UK.
- Applicants must be enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program at the university.
- Applicants must be registered in a course with a normal credit load of 30 credits or more.
- Applicants must have their application assessed for all statutory funding, including maintenance loans, to which they are entitled.
- Applicants cannot utilize the funds towards the following conditions:
- Towards travel costs related to periods of exchange or study abroad
- Towards discounting of tuition fees.
