Eligibility Criteria

Eligible Countries: India
Acceptable Course or Subjects: Any subject offered by the University of Edinburgh
Admissible Criteria:
- Firmly accepts an unconditional offer for any full-time, on-campus PGT Masters program at the University of Edinburgh.
- Domiciled in India at the time of application.
- Holds international fee status.
- Is either fully or partially self-funded.
- Has achieved an undergraduate degree from an institution in India meeting the minimum academic requirements specified.
- Exclusions include those fully sponsored by employers, recipients of full scholarships elsewhere, and current University of Edinburgh postgraduate students.

Offered Benefits

Recipients of the India Merit Scholarship will receive £5,000 towards their tuition fees for the 2024/25 academic year. This award recognizes and supports the academic excellence of Indian students pursuing their postgraduate studies at the University of Edinburgh.

Application Process

Candidates are automatically considered for the scholarship upon acceptance of an unconditional offer for a PGT Masters program at the University of Edinburgh. No separate application is required.
