The Lester B. Pearson International Scholarships provide an unparalleled opportunity for outstanding international students to study at one of the world’s best universities in one of the world’s most multicultural cities. This scholarship program aims to recognize students who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement and creativity and are recognized as leaders within their school. Awarded annually, these scholarships recognize outstanding students from around the world, including international students studying at Canadian high schools. It is U of T’s most prestigious and competitive scholarship for international students.

The Lester B. Pearson International Scholarships cover tuition, books, incidental fees, and full residence support for four years. To contribute their unique skills to the global community, eligible applicants must be international students requiring a study permit, enrolled in their final year of secondary school in 2025/2026, and starting their studies at the University of Toronto in September 2026.

Application for the scholarship opens on July 1, 2025. Applicants must receive a nomination from their school and apply to study at the University of Toronto by October 17, 2025. Once nominated and applied to the university, they can complete the online Lester B. Pearson Scholarship application by November 7, 2025. All necessary documents must be submitted online by November 7, 2025.
