Eligibility for Canon Foundation Research Fellowships:
Applicants Must:
- Be highly qualified European or Japanese researchers.
- For European Fellows: Plan to pursue research in Japan.
- For Japanese Fellows: Plan to pursue research in Europe.
- Have obtained at least a Master’s or PhD degree within the last ten years of applying to the Canon Foundation.
Note: Candidates who obtained their qualification more than ten years ago may also apply, provided they submit additional supporting information in their application.

Value of the Fellowship:
