Princeton University Financial Assistance covers 100% of tuition costs, with about 65% of students estimated to qualify for aid in the 2023-24 academic year. This robust support highlights Princeton’s generous financial aid program, which applies equally to global students. This aid is offered entirely through non-repayable grants, as Princeton adheres to a no-loan policy, ensuring that students do not accumulate debt. Princeton admission is need-blind — there is no disadvantage in the admission process for financial aid applicants. Students who qualify for financial aid will receive a grant, rather than a loan that has to be repaid.

Benefits

  • Scholarships cover the full cost of tuition for studying in the U.S.
  • Some scholarships also cover fees for rooms and other facilities, providing further financial relief to students.

Eligibility For Princeton University Financial Assistance

  • Candidates tend to earn high grades and have comparatively high scores on standardized tests.
  • Financial aid is solely need-based, with no merit scholarships awarded. The need is assessed through a thorough review of each family’s financial circumstances, considering income, assets, and enrolled siblings.
