The Faculty of Arts offers a limited number of conference grants to graduate coursework students in the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences (GSHSS).
Eligibility for the Faculty of Arts Graduate Coursework Conference Grants:
To be considered for this grant, you must:
- Have received an invitation to attend and/or present at a conference
- Obtain written confirmation from course coordinator that the conference is relevant
- Be currently enrolled in Graduate coursework (GSHSS)
- Have completed at least 37.5 points and one semester of study
- Agree to report conference outcomes (written or presentation)
- Provide receipts for expenses (registration, travel, accommodation)
Value of Faculty of Arts Graduate Coursework Conference Grants:
These grants provide a one-off payment of up to $500 for local conferences, up to $1000 for interstate conferences, and up to $2000 for overseas conferences. The amount awarded will correspond to a percentage of the documented conference registration, travel, and accommodation costs.
