Applicants must:

  • Be enrolled as a degree‑seeking student at Freie Universität Berlin during the scholarship funding period OR hold a letter of acceptance to start a degree at FU Berlin.
  • Be within the standard time to degree for the programme for the entire funding period.
  • Apply for the scholarship for the winter semester (awards begin in October).
  • Be a Bachelor’s, Master’s or state exam (first or second degree) student.
