The Dean’s Bursary for Professional Advancement supports applicants committed to professional growth but needing financial assistance for postgraduate study. Full-time students receive the bursary as a fee waiver from the second instalment, while part-time students get half in each year of study.

Eligibility criteria for the applicant must include the following:

  • Must be starting their first year of postgraduate study in one of our MSc programmes (October or January intake).
  • Open to both UK/EU and international students entering their first year of postgraduate study.
  • Applicants must be self-funded and not receiving any other scholarships, except for the Graduate Loyalty Discount.

Application Process:

  • All eligible candidates must submit application form online to be considered for the scholarship.
  • The award will be given based on merit following a shortlisting and selection process. 
  • The final decision will be made by a selection panel and cannot be appealed.

Value:

  • Successful candidates are awarded the scholarship based on the following quota:
  • GBP 1,000 or GBP 2,000 OR GBP 3,000.
