Are you looking to travel the world and support a meaningful mission, even if you're on a budget and don't have professional skills? Join our volunteering programme at El Terreno, a great opportunity to join our community and be an essential part of the daily running of our cultural exchange centre.

Volunteer’s main role is to support the day-to-day operations for participants (eg. cooking & cleaning) and developing/maintaining infrastructure (gardens & buildings) of the cultural exchange centre. We are able to keep the programme free/low cost because it brings value to the organisation; the tasks are less ‘glamorous’ than other programmes and involve minimal community engagement. This role is more like a job (in exchange for meals, accommodation and the exciting experience of living in the Andes) than an opportunity to learn new skills or do exciting projects.

Volunteers task includes:
- Community Living: Participate in daily check-ins (8am) and weekly deep cleans (Monday 2pm)
- Manual Work: Support the maintenance and development of our cultural centre. Tasks vary widely, but often include: Organising areas/materials around the property ; Reforestation on our property (Jan-Mar) ; Gardening (depending on skill level)
- Cooking: Cook shared meals, usually assisting local cooks
- Cleaning: Maintain a clean and welcoming environment for all visitors, both inside and outside
