Eligibility:
You're eligible if you:
- are a domestic student
- are enrolled full-time in an Approved Program
- are a resident at UQ Res Gatton Halls of Residence or Kev Carmody House
- are from a Regional, Rural or Remote Area in Queensland
- are a Commencing Student or have not completed more than 16 units in the Approved Program
- can demonstrate financial hardship by providing documentary evidence.
Selection criteria:
Preference will be given to applicants who:
- are a part of the Young Achievers Program
- have been offered or hold a LEAD scholarship.
About this scholarship:
Established in 2006, the UQef Residential Scholarship supports students from regional, rural or remote areas of Queensland experiencing financial hardship with the cost of residential fees.
