Now in its 23rd year, Young Package is open for entries for the 2018 international design competition in packaging design, themed: Coffee Mania.
The competition was founded to invite students and creative people, and challenge them to create designs of corrugated and smooth cardboard or other paper materials widely used in packaging design.
Since its foundation in 1996, the Young Package competition has achieved an international reputation and a distinctive position among competitions for young designers. Last year, more than 700 students and young designers from 57 countries competed.
Young Package is a competition for young designers of up to 30 years of age. Its focus are packages made of paper.
Design a package that responds to the ever present coffee phenomena. The organizers are seeking for a package design not only for coffee by itself but for everything that belongs to it.
The winners will receive 6,000 EUR and one of the winners will also be chosen for a three-week remunerated internship at the Model Obaly Innovation Centre.
