Frank Joseph Murphy Bursary
Description
Established in 1994 and maintained by the income from a bequest from the late Frank Joseph Murphy. Awarded to students undertaking a Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) (including dual program) or Bachelor of Engineering / Master of Engineering or Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) / Master of Engineering in a major administered by the School of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering.
Eligibility
The Bursary is open to -
- Students undertaking a Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor fo Engineering (Honours) (including dual program) or Bachelor of Engineering / Master of Engineering or Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) / Master of Engineering in a major administered by the School of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering and who are undertaking exchange programs with overseas institutions; and
- BE or BE (Hons) (including dual program) or BE/ME or BE (Hons)/ME graduates of not more than 2 years standing in major administered by the School of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering and who will use the Bursary to undertake further study outside Australia.
Selection criteria
The Bursary is awarded on the basis of academic merit and the value of the proposed study for the engineering component of the BE or BE (Hons) or BE / ME.
