Commonwealth Distance Learning  Scholarships 
The Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarships support candidates to study Master’s degree courses that are either offered in partnership with universities in developing countries, or delivered directly by UK institutions.

Edinburgh Global Distance Learning Scholarships 
The University of Edinburgh will offer scholarships for distance learning Master’s programmes offered by the University. Scholarships will be available for students pursuing any distance learning Master’s programme offered by the University. Each scholarship will cover the full tuition fees over three years.

University of the People Tuition Free Degrees
University of the People (UoPeople) offers everyone with internet access the opportunity to pursue Associate and Bachelor Degree Programs in Business Administration and Computer Science online. Tuition fee is free but students are required to pay an application Processing Fee (up to $50) as well as an Exam Processing Fee ($100) per end-of-course-exam. Scholarships are available to cover these fees.

Hubert Humphrey Fellowships (USA)
The Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program provides a year of professional enrichment in the United States for experienced professionals from designated countries throughout the world.   The Fellowship provides ten months of non-degree academic study and related professional experiences in the United States. The fellowships provide tuition fees, maintenance allowance, insurance, travel costs, English language training, etc.

Global Undergraduate Exchange Program (UGRAD) (USA)
The Global Undergraduate Exchange Program (also known as the Global UGRAD Program) provides one semester scholarships to outstanding undergraduate students from around the world for non-degree full-time study combined with community service, professional development, and cultural enrichment. The scholarship will cover international travel, tuition, room and board, accident/sickness insurance, a small monthly stipend, and funding for books.

American University Emerging Global Leader Scholarship (USA)
The AU Emerging Global Leader Scholarship is targeted to high-achieving international students who wish to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree at the University and who are dedicated to positive civic and social change.  The AU EGL scholarship covers all billable AU expenses (full tuition, room and board).

Karen McKellin International Leader of Tomorrow Award at University of British Columbia (Canada)
University of British Columbia (UBC) provides bachelors scholarships for talented secondary and post-secondary international students from around the world.  The value of awards is commensurate with demonstrated financial need, up to full tuition costs for the relevant program of study, and living expenses.

Reach Oxford Scholarships (UK)
A number of Oxford colleges offer Reach Oxford Scholarships to students from developing countries who, for political or financial reasons, or because equivalent educational facilities do not exist, cannot study for a degree in their own countries. The scholarships cover university fees and college fees, a grant for living expenses and one return air fare per year.

UCL Global Undergraduate Scholarships (UK)
The UCL Global Undergraduate Scholarship aims to enable and encourage international students from low income backgrounds to pursue full-time Undergraduate degree studies at UCL. There are 10 awards of full tuition fees & maintenance and 20 awards of full tuition fees.

Wells Mountain Foundation Scholarships for Developing Country Students (Any developing country)
The Wells Mountain Foundation funds scholarships for individuals in developing nations or other situations of extreme poverty.  The scholarships range from $300 USD to $3000 USD annually and can be used for tuition and fees, books and materials, and other approved costs.

Melbourne International Undergraduate Scholarships (Australia)
The International Undergraduate Scholarships were established by the University of Melbourne in recognition of the significant contribution made by international students to the diversity of the University’s student population.  The scholarships are in the form of partial and full tuition fee waivers.

York University International Student Scholarships (Canada)
York University offers various scholarships specifically for international students who would like to take a full-time undergraduate degree at University of York. The scholarships range from $80,000-$180,000 for 4 years of study.

Macquarie University Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarships (Australia)
The Macquarie University Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship provides a partial tuition fee scholarship for outstanding students from a country other than ASEAN, a European country, Mongolia, Australia or New Zealand to study an undergraduate or postgraduate degree at Macquarie University North Ryde campus.
 The scholarship amount is varied up to AUD$10,000 which will be applied towards the tuition fee.

Sheffield Hallam University Transform Together Scholarships (UK)
Transform Together scholarships are open to international and European Union (non UK) students applying to study a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate taught course at Sheffield Hallam University. A half fee waiver (50% discount) is available for undergraduate and postgraduate taught courses for the first year of study.

Bristol University Think Big Scholarships (UK)
Bristol University is investing £500,000 to help the brightest and best international students come to the University of Bristol. Think Big Undergraduate scholarships and Think Big Postgraduate scholarships are available for courses starting in 2020. The awards are tuition fee waivers worth  £5,000- £20,000.

University of West London International Ambassador Scholarships (UK)
The International Ambassador Scholarship recognizes and provides financial support for outstanding students who wish to pursue a full time undergraduate or postgraduate degree at University of West London. Scholarships are worth up to £5,000 which can go toward tuition fees.

Lund University Global Scholarships (Sweden)
The Lund University Global Scholarship programme is targeted to top academic students who are citizens of countries from outside the European Union/European Economic Area (and Switzerland) who wish to pursue a Bachelors or Masters Degree Programme at the University. The scholarships may cover 25%, 50%, 75% or 100% of the tuition fee.

Emily Boutmy Scholarships for International Students (France)
The Emile Boutmy Scholarship is awarded to top international students from outside the EU who are applying for eligible Bachelor’s or Master’s Programme at the University. The scholarships can take different forms ranging from €12,200 per year for 2 years of postgraduate study or €3,000 to €13,190 per year  for 3 years of undergraduate study.

Joint Japan World Bank Scholarships (various countries)
The Joint Japan World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program (JJ/WBGSP) sponsors students from developing countries to pursue one of the preferred and partner masters programs at participating Universities around the world. The scholarship covers the scholar’s tuition fees, travel costs, and living allowance.

ADB Japan Scholarship Program (Asian countries)
The Asian Development Bank-Japan Scholarship Program (ADB-JSP) aims to provide an opportunity for well-qualified citizens of ADB’s developing member countries to undertake postgraduate studies at participating academic institutions in the Asian and Pacific Region. The scholarship provides full tuition fees, a monthly subsistence and housing allowance, an allowance for books and instructional materials, medical insurance, and travel expenses.

Aga Khan Foundation Scholarships (any country)
The Aga Khan Foundation provides a limited number of scholarships each year for postgraduate studies to outstanding students from developing countries who have no other means of financing their studies.  Scholarships are awarded on a 50% grant : 50% loan basis.

Rotary Foundation Global Study Grants (various countries)
The Rotary Foundation Global Grants can be used to fund graduate-level coursework or research or its equivalent in one of Rotary’s six areas of focus for a term of one to four academic years. The study grants are valued at least $30,000.

British Chevening Scholarships (UK)
Chevening Scholarships are the UK government’s global scholarship programme which offers awards to outstanding scholars with leadership potential from around the world to study postgraduate courses at universities in the UK. Most Chevening Scholarships cover: tuition fees; a living allowance at a set rate (for one individual); an economy class return airfare to the UK; additional grants to cover essential expenditure. Some scholarships cover part of the cost of studying in the UK; for example, tuition fees only or allowances only.

Commonwealth Shared Scholarships Scheme at UK Universities (UK)
The UK Commonwealth Shared Scholarships are intended for students from developing Commonwealth countries who would not otherwise be able to afford to undertake Master’s level study in the UK, to gain skills and knowledge which will allow them to contribute to the development of their home countries. Each scholarship provides approved tuition and examination fees, approved airfare from your home country to the UK and return at the end of your award, stipend, thesis grant, warm clothing allowance, study travel grant, and excess baggage allowance.

University of the West of England Chancellor’s Scholarships (UK)
The University of the West of England, Bristol offers more than £100,000 worth of scholarships for international students each year. This includes the Chancellor’s Scholarship wherein the recipient will be required to undertake ambassadorial activity for the University throughout the duration of the course. The scholarship covers the full tuition fee for one academic year.

Developing Solutions Scholarships at University of Nottingham (UK)
The Developing Solutions Scholarships are designed for international students from Africa, India or one of the developing countries of the Commonwealth who want to study a Masters Degree at the University of Nottingham and make a difference to the development of their home country. Each year, 105 scholarships  are awarded– 30 scholarships will cover the full tuition fee while 75 will cover 50% of the tuition fee.

Leiden University Excellence Scholarships (Netherlands)
The Leiden University Excellence Scholarship Programme (LExS) is open to outstanding non-EEA/non-EFTA students enrolling in a master’s degree programme offered at Leiden University. The scholarships come in the form of the following: €10,000 of the tuition fee, €15,000 of the tuition fee, or total tuition fee minus the home fee.

Utrecht University Excellence Scholarships (Netherlands)
The Utrecht Excellence Scholarship offers a number of outstanding prospective students the opportunity to pursue a Master’s degree in a selected number of fields at Utrecht University. The scholarship can be awarded as tuition fees OR tuition fees plus 11,000 euro living expenses.

University of Maastricht Holland High Potential Scholarships (Netherlands)
University of Maastricht Holland High Potential Scholarships are made available to talented students from outside the EU/EEA to follow a Master’s programme at Maastricht University. The scholarships cover tuition fee, living expenses per month, insurance, and visa costs.

Radboud University Scholarship Programme (Netherlands)
The Radboud Scholarship Programme offers a selected number of talented prospective non-EEA students the opportunity to receive a scholarship to pursue a complete English-taught Master’s degree programme at Radboud University Nijmegen. The scholarship is not an amount of money that you will receive on your bank account but consists of a partial tuition waiver. The tuition fee will be waived to the level of an EEA student. In addition, the Radboud Scholarship also covers costs such as for visa, residence permit, health insurance and liability insurance.

University of Twente Scholarships (Netherlands)
University Twente Scholarships (UTS) are scholarships for excellent students from non-EEA countries who are applying for a graduate programme (MSc) at the University of Twente. The scholarship amount is from € 6,000 – € 25,000 for one year.

VU University Amsterdam Fellowship Programme (Netherlands)
The VU Fellowship Programme (VUFP) offers talented prospective students from outside the EU/EEA the unique opportunity to pursue a degree in a selection of Master’s programmes at VU University. The VUFP scholarship is a tuition fee waiver. VUFP scholarship does not provide any additional allowance towards study or living costs.

TU Delft Excellence Scholarships (Netherlands)
The Delft University of Technology offers the Justus & Louise van Effen scholarship which aims to financially supporting excellent international MSc students wishing to study at TU Delft.  The scholarship covers the tuition fees and monthly allowance for living expenses.

Swedish Institute Scholarships for Global Professionals (Sweden)
The Swedish Institute offers scholarships to highly-qualified international students from several countries who wants to pursue full-time master’s level studies in Sweden. The scholarship covers tuition fee, living expenses, some travel grant, and insurance.

Chalmers IPOET Scholarships (Sweden)
Chalmers will be offering around 50 IPOET scholarships to prospective fee-paying students from outside the EU/EEA who wish to pursue any Masters Degree Programme offered at the University.  The scholarship is a 75% reduction of the tuition fees for 4 semesters (2 year programme).

Uppsala IPK Scholarships (Sweden)
Uppsala University awards the IPK scholarships to oustanding non-EU/EEA students applying for Master’s programmes at the University. Scholarships will cover the cost of tuition but not living expenses.

Umea University Scholarships for International Students (Sweden)
Umeå University offers scholarships to talented and high-achieving non-EU/EEA citizens who wish to pursue one of the English-taught Master’s study programmes offered at the University. The scholarships are in the form of full or partial reduction of the tuition fee.

ETH Zurich Excellence Scholarship Programme (Switzerland)
ETH Zurich supports excellent students wishing to pursue a Master’s degree at ETH through the Excellence Scholarship & Opportunity Programme (ESOP). The Excellence Scholarship/ESOP consists of a grant covering living and study expenses (CHF 12,000 per semester) as well as a tuition fee waiver.

University of Lausanne Master’s Grant for Foreign Students (Switzerland)
The University of Lausanne in Switzerland offers scholarships to international students who wishes to pursue a Masters Degree at the University through the UNIL Master’s Grants.  The amount of the grant is CHF 1,600.- per month from 15 September to 15 July, for a duration not exceeding the regulation minimum period of the programme.

University of Geneva Excellence Master Fellowships (Switzerland)
The Faculty of Science of the University of Geneva offers scholarships for outstanding students from any university who wish to pursue a Masters of Science Programme offered by the Faculty of Science. The Excellence Fellowship consists of a grant amounting to CHF 10,000 to CHF 15,000 per year.

ENS International Selection Scholarships (France)
Each year, the ENS organizes an international selection allowing about twenty of the most promising international students, either in Science or in Arts & Humanities, to follow a three-year Master’s Degree and Diploma at the ENS. Scholars receive a monthly grant of approximately 1,000 Euros.

Ampere Excellence Scholarships for International Students (France)
The Ampère Scholarships of Excellence provide excellent international students with the opportunity to pursue one of the eligible Masters programs offered at ENS de Lyon.  The scholarship is worth €1000/month for a duration of 12 months and is renewable.

VLIR-UOS Masters Scholarships (Belgium)
VLIR-UOS awards scholarships to students from 54 eligible countries in Africa, Asia and Latin-America, to follow an English-taught Masters programme at a Flemish university or university college in Belgium. The scholarships cover allowance, travel costs, accommodation, insurance, tuition fees, and other program related costs.

K.U. Leuven Scholarships for International Students (Belgium)
The Science@Leuven Scholarship are for motivated and talented international students, interested in participating in an international master programme of the Faculty of Science of the K.U.Leuven. The amount of the scholarship can be up to 10,000 Euro for 1 year. The scholarship will always cover the tuition fee for 1 year, the insurance and a basic health insurance coverage. The amount awarded for living expenses can vary.

DAAD Scholarships with Relevance to Developing Countries (Germany)
The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) provides scholarships for international students for a range of postgraduate courses at German Universities which aim at providing academically educated young professionals from developing countries with further specialized studies. Full and partial scholarships are available.

Danish State Tuition Fee Waivers and Scholarships at Roskilde University (Denmark)
A limited number of Danish state tuition fee waivers and scholarships are offered to highly talented students at graduate level, who come from countries outside of the EU/EEA and need a residence permit to study at Roskilde University. The scholarships include a tuition fee waiver and approximately DKK 7,800 per month to cover living expenses in Denmark.

Fulbright Foreign Student Progam (USA)
The Fulbright Foreign Student Program enables graduate students, young professionals, and artists from abroad to research and study in the United States for one year or longer at U.S. universities or other appropriate institutions. The Fulbright program provides funding for the duration of the study including tuition, textbooks, airfare, a living stipend, and health insurance.

Australia Awards Scholarships (Australia)
Australia Awards Scholarships provide opportunities for people from developing countries, particularly those countries located in the Indo-Pacific region, to undertake full time undergraduate or postgraduate study at participating Australian universities and Technical and Further Education (TAFE) institutions. The scholarship benefits generally include full tuition fees, return air travel, establishment allowance, contribution to living expenses, health insurance,  etc.

UK Commonwealth Scholarships for Developing Commonwealth Countries (UK)
The Commonwealth Scholarships are intended for students from developing Commonwealth countries who wants to pursue Master’s and PhD study in the UK.  Each Scholarship provides airfare to and from United Kingdom, tuition and examination fees, personal maintaining allowance, thesis grant (if applicable), initial arrival allowance, among others.

Gates Cambridge Scholarships (UK)
Gates Cambridge Scholarships are awarded to outstanding applicants from countries outside the UK to pursue a full-time postgraduate degree in any subject available at the University of Cambridge. The scholarship covers the full cost of studying at Cambridge. It also provides additional, discretionary funding.

Clarendon Scholarships at University of Oxford (UK)
The Clarendon Fund is a major graduate scholarship scheme at the University of Oxford and are awarded on the basis of academic excellence and potential across all degree-bearing subjects at graduate level at the University of Oxford. The scholarships cover tuition and college fees in full and a generous grant for living expenses.

Eiffel Excellence Scholarship Programme (France)
The Eiffel scholarship program was developed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a tool to allow French higher education institutions to attract the best foreign students for Master’s and PhD degree programs. Eiffel scholarship-holders receive a monthly allowance and other expenses such as return trip, social security cover, and cultural activities. It does not cover tuition fees.

Erik Bleumink Scholarships at University of Groningen (Netherlands)
The Eric Bleumink Fund awards scholarships to talented students and young researchers from developing countries who are pursuing a 1 year or 2 years Master’s degree programme at the University of Groningen.  The grant covers tuition fee, costs of international travel, subsistence, books, and health insurance.

Heinrich Boll Foundation Scholarships (Germany)
The Heinrich Böll Foundation awards scholarships to international students who gained their university entrance qualification from a school outside of Germany who wish to study a Masters or PhD Degree in Germany. The scholarship value is  € 812-934 per month for Masters Students or €1200-1350 per month for PhD students plus various individual allowances. Tuition fees are not funded.

Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships (Canada)
The Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships (Vanier CGS) was created to attract and retain world-class doctoral students and to establish Canada as a global centre of excellence in research and higher learning.  The scholarships are towards a doctoral degree (or combined MA/PhD or MD/PhD).  The scholarships is worth $50,000 per year for three years.

University of Manitoba Graduate Fellowships (Canada)
The University of Manitoba Graduate Fellowships (UMGF) are merit-based awards that are open to students of any nationality who will be registered as full-time graduate students (Masters or PhD) at the University of Manitoba. The value of these fellowships is $18,000 (Ph.D.) and is $14,000 (Master’s) for a 12 month period.

Cambridge International Scholarship Scheme (UK)
The University of Cambridge will offer, via the Cambridge Trusts, the Cambridge International Scholarships to international students undertaking PhD studies at the University. The Scholarships pay the University Composition Fee and a maintenance allowance sufficient for a single person.

Warwick Chancellor’s International Scholarships (UK)
The Warwick Graduate School awards around 25 Chancellor’s International Scholarships to the most outstanding international PhD applicants yearly. The scholarships are open to students of any nationality and to any discipline offered at Warwick. The scholarships include the full payment of overseas tuition fee and a maintenance stipend.

International Postgraduate Research Scholarships (IPRS) (Australia)
The IPRS program enables international students to undertake a postgraduate research qualification in Australia and gain experience with leading Australian researchers.  The scholarships are available for a period of two years for a Masters by research degree or three years for a Doctorate by research degree.  The scholarship covers tuition fees and health cover costs.

Melbourne Research Scholarships (Australia)
The Melbourne Research Scholarships (MRS) are awarded to international students wishing to undertake graduate research degree studies at the University of Melbourne. Benefits provided by the MRS include living allowance, relocation allowance, paid sick, maternity and parenting leave, full fee remission and Overseas Student Health Cover.

Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships (Switzerland)
The Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships provide graduates from all fields with the opportunity to pursue doctoral or postdoctoral research  at one of the public funded university or recognized institution in Switzerland.  The scholarship covers a monthly allowance, tuition fees, health insurance, lodging allowance, etc.

Global Minds Doctoral Scholarships Programme at KU Leuven (Belgium)
As one of its contributions to development cooperation, every academic year KU Leuven selects exceptional students from developing countries as scholarship candidates to obtain their PhD from the largest university of Belgium. The scholarship covers tuition fee, monthly allowance, insurance, travel costs, research allowance, etc.
