Whether you are a student, a graduate or a professional, whether you have a bachelor’s degree, a master’s degree, or a PhD, here is a list of the best (of the best) scholarships in France to finance your study.

1. Eiffel Excellence Scholarships

This is the best scholarship in France. It’s “La creme de la creme” of All scholarship programs in France. The Eiffel Excellence Scholarship program can easily be ranked in the TOP 5 best scholarship programs in the WORLD.

The program is open in September of each year.

What is good in the Eiffel scholarship program ?

The program has a lot of benefits :

  • 600 scholarships each year,
  • It’s a FULLY FUNDED program.
  • All France universities are concerned and eligible.
  • All international students without restriction are eligible.
  • The program is meant to take a master‘s degree or a PhD in France.

2. University of Paris Scholarships : MIEM

The MIEM program, funded by IdEx University of Paris, aims to promote the internationalization of master’s programs and facilitate the arrival of the best international students in order to create a pool of excellence for the recruitment of future doctoral students.

The program is open for application in December of each year.

The amount of each scholarship varies from €8,000 to €10,000. The number of scholarships is no less than 90 each year.

3. University of Paris Scholarships : SMARTS-UP

The SMARTS-UP is a new program at University of Paris that aims to build notably a pool of excellence in the recruitment of future doctoral students.  It is intended to finance around 120 incoming mobility grants of €8,000 each to enable the University Research Schools (EUR) to welcome international  students in the various Masters programs.

The program is usually open for applications in April of each year.

4. Sciences Po scholarships : Emile Boutmy

Sciences Po created the Emile Boutmy scholarship in order to welcome the very best international students from outside the European Union. The Emile Boutmy Scholarship is awarded to top students whose profiles match the admissions priorities of Sciences Po and individual course requirements.

The program funds master and bachelor degrees.

5. University of Paris-Saclay scholarships

These scholarships are aimed at students admitted to a Master’s program delivered by University of Paris-Saclay. All programs are eligible for this scholarship.

The University of Paris-Saclay scholarship program is usually open for applications starting January of each year.

6. Grenoble INP Foundation scholarships

The Grenoble INP Foundation offers scholarships for excellent international Master’s degree students. The scholarship can be up to 5000 euros per semester, for a maximum duration of 2 semesters.

7. Centrale Nantes Elite Scholarship

Centrale Nantes Elite scholarships  is up to a total of €3,000 for the two years awarded to non-European students accepted into the first year of one of the Master’s programs at Centrale Nantes.

8. Ampere Scholarships at ENS de Lyon

The ENS de Lyon and its partners offer scholarships for excellent international students to enrol in its Master’s programs. The amount of the scholarship is €1,000/ month during one or two academic years.

9. LABEX Milyon Scholarships

The Excellence Laboratory Milyon offers Licence 3 or Master scholarships of a net amount of 1 000 euros/month, for 10 months, from September 2021 to June 2022. The scholarships are renewable on an annual basis, subject to evaluation by the labex.

The program is open for application every October of each year.

10. ENS International Selection Scholarships

International students to continue their studies at ENS will be offered 1000 euros/month grant for 3 years and a room on one of the ENS campuses. At the end of their studies, these students have graduated with a master degree in their specialty and with the diploma of Ecole Normale Superieure.
