This scholarship is tailored for students aiming to enhance their academic credentials and research skills. It provides a 12-month financial support covering living expenses, enabling recipients to immerse themselves in the French educational system while laying the groundwork for future PhD research.

Eligibility Criteria

Regulations: Malaysian citizens under 28 years old by December 31, 2024, are eligible. Students from all higher education and research institutions in Malaysia, both private and public, can apply.

Target Levels: Malaysian citizens currently enrolled in M1 who plan to pursue their M2 studies in France with the intention of obtaining a PhD there, preferably through cotutelle or co-direction with a Malaysian university.

Language Requirement: Knowledge of French is not mandatory, but language requirements are determined by the host institution.

Additional Conditions:

• University term must start in September 2024.
• Scholarship attribution is contingent upon acceptance into the M2 program.
• A final report must be submitted to the Embassy by February 28, 2024.
• Selected candidates must have a passport with adequate validity and agree to be recorded in the Campus France Alumni database.
