The ASEAN Youth Friendship Network (AYFN) extends an invitation to youth worldwide for the AYFN Autumn Culture Camp 2024 in Tokyo, Japan. This fully funded 6-night cultural exchange program runs from November 10th to 15th, 2024, offering an opportunity to apply without IELTS or TOEFL requirements. Applicants not awarded a scholarship can choose to participate on a self-funded basis without undergoing the selection process.

  • Heritage walking tour around Kyoto
  • Familiarization with local traditions (Food, lifestyle, Cultural activities).
  • Experimental learning.
  • E-Certificate of participation from AYFN.

Eligibility for Autumn Culture Camp

  • 7 – 35 Years old for scholarship applicants.
  • 15 – 35 Years old for self-funded applicants.
  • All nationalities are welcome to apply.
  • Be able to communicate in English.
  • Health physically and mentally.
  • Have an interest in Japanese Culture.
  • Have an interest in writing and videography
  • Interest in Social Media

  • Cultural tour activities
  • Visit interesting places
  • Taste authentic Japanese cuisine (sushi, udon, ramen, etc)
  • Walk around the heritage area of Kyoto (Fushimi Inari Taisha, Kiyomizudera, and Yasaka Shrine)

  • Pay the $10 Application Fee to AYFN.
  • Fill out the online application form.
  • Notification of first stage selection (Documents)
