Peters Civil Engineering Scholarship
Recipients will be selected based on the following criteria: i. Resident of the state of Michigan. ii. Admitted into the College of Engineering, majoring in Civil Engineering. iii. Have actively participated in a Diversity Programs Office (DPO) program or service including but not limited to the Guided Learning Center, Academic Success Coaching program, National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE), or other similar student organizations and/or students participating in research sponsored by either the Engineering and Science Success Academy (ESSA) or MI-LSAMP. iv. Demonstrate financial need as determined by the Federal Government according to its policies and procedures. v. Preference will be given to veteran students or students who are current members of the National Guard.
