This program aims to attract talented international students commencing full-time PhD positions at the university. The appointed candidate will be offered a gross salary of € 2.770 per month.
Wageningen University & Research is a public institution located in Wageningen, Netherlands, renowned for its focus on technical and engineering disciplines. It stands as a prominent hub for life sciences and agricultural research, situated in the region known as the Food Valley. Founded in 1918, the university boasts a diverse student body of around 12,000 individuals representing over 100 countries. The academic offerings include six bachelor’s degrees, thirty master’s degrees, and three online master’s degrees.The gross salary for the first year is € 2.770 per month in the first year rising to € 3.959,- in the fourth year in according to the Collective Labour Agreements for Dutch Universities (CAO-NU) (scale P). This is based on a full-time working week of 38 hours. We offer a temporary contract for 18 months which will be extended for the duration of the project if you perform well. There are plenty of options for personal initiative in a learning environment, and we provide excellent training opportunities.
