Dreaming of a hospital-university experience in France?
The Assistance Publique – Hôpitaux de Paris (AP-HP) is now accepting applications for the 2026–2027 academic year for the REHP Program – Foreign Residents of the Paris Hospitals.

This program offers 35 paid positions to medical practitioners from outside the European Union who wish to train within Europe’s largest university hospital network.

👩‍⚕️ Who can apply?

Eligible candidates are practitioners whose application is supported by their home institution as part of an international cooperation agreement:

  • DFMS (physicians in specialty training)

  • DFMSA (medical specialists)

  • Associate Interns (already specialized practitioners)

💰 Conditions and Benefits

  • Positions funded by AP-HP under international cooperation agreements

  • Salary: €1,650 net/month

  • Duration: 1 year

  • Start date: November 2026

  • Application period: October 2025 to January 15, 2026

  • An official AP-HP certification is awarded upon completion of the program, during a recognition ceremony honoring participants’ achievements.

🌍 Application Procedure

  • DFMS / DFMSA:
    Apply first through the University of Strasbourg website, then through the College of Medicine website.

  • Associate Interns:
    Apply directly via the College of Medicine website.

⚠️ Travel, accommodation, and insurance costs remain the responsibility of the candidate.
