Bharathiar University is a private university and is very well-known in the southern part of India. The university is named after the great poet Subramania Bharathiar. The motto of the institute is “Education to Elevate” and was established in the year 1982. 


 

Duration of the course

 

The university offers 3 different types of distance MBA courses. The course duration of each of them is different. The duration of MBA specialization and Executive MBA is 2 years whereas for Integrated MBA course is 5 years.

Fee structure

 

The total fee for 2 years of Executive MBA course is INR 33,000, the course fee for a specialization MBA course for 2 years is INR 25,570 and the course fee for 5 years Integrated MBA course is INR 37,905. The university also offers 10% concession to women, 25% tuition fee concession to teachers, defense and police personnel, press or media persons, and graduates from the university itself. 

 

Accreditation of the university

 

The university currently not accredited by UGC.

 

How to take admission?

 

There are four ways by which an interested candidate can take admission in the university. The ways are mentioned below:

 

  • Spot admission

 

The university has more than 350 study centres spread all over the country. These centres are study centres and admission spots as well. An interested candidate can visit any of these centres and get the admission done. 

 

  • Application by post

 

For taking admission by this process there is a need to send a demand draft of Rs 200 to the Director, School of Distance Education, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore.

 

  • Application in person

 

For this method, you need to pay Rs 150 in any State Bank of India branch as Challan without DD commission or a crossed Demand Draft drawn in favor of the Director.

 

  • Online

 

Application through the online website

 

Eligibility for the course

 

  • MBA specialization – A pass in any degree

  • Executive MBA course – Any Degree in Any Major with 3 Years of Work Experience

  • Integrated MBA course – Diploma in any major, HSC in any major, pre-degree in any major
