Eligibility:
You're eligible if you:
- can demonstrate financial need
- do not already hold a university qualification
And you’re any of the below:
- a second year student (have completed at least 12 units but less than 27 units towards an Approved Program)
- Australian citizen, permanent humanitarian visa holder, or permanent resident
- New Zealand citizen.
Approved UQ Program for this scholarship:
- Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) or Engineering (Honours) and Master of Engineering or dual
- Preference will be given to a student studying in any field within the electrical engineering discipline
Selection criteria:
We'll consider:
- evidence of financial need
- personal qualities including leadership potential, community service and/or engagement
- academic achievements to date in the Approved Program
- any other matter the selection committee considers relevant to your future academic success.
