The University of Białystok is a public university located in north-eastern Poland, established in 1997. It consists of nine faculties covering fields such as humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, and mathematics, and has the authority to confer doctoral and postdoctoral degrees. The university is recognized for its significant role in scientific research and international cooperation, and it carries out numerous research projects funded both nationally and internationally.

The Polish Government Scholarship is offered to students and researchers based on bilateral agreements between Poland and other countries. It is managed by the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA). Beneficiaries of this scholarship are granted a full tuition waiver to study at the University of Białystok.
