Eligibility for the Sussex Bursary:
- Applicants should have started their undergraduate course on or after September 2025.
- Students must be funded as a Home student in 2025/26 and have an assessed household income of less than £35,000.
- Students must not in receipt of non-means tested grant element to your funding (such as Welsh funded students or Year 2 / 3 Social Worker students)
- Students studying in the current academic year 2024/25 with a household family income is less than £35,000 are eligible to receive the Sussex Bursary.
Application Process:
Bursary application is automatic as the University receives the information directly from Student Finance.
Benefits:
- £1,000 in your first year of study (either Year 1 or Foundation Year).
- £500 in subsequent years.
