Eligibility Criteria for Edinburgh Legal Education Trust LLM by Research (LLMR) Scholarships:
Applicants must:
- Hold, by the start of the LLMR programme:
- An honours degree in law, or
- An ordinary law degree plus an honours degree in another discipline.
- Be accepted by the University of Edinburgh for the LLM by Research in Scots Private Law.
- Be seeking to start in September 2026.
- Preference may be given to those intending to progress to a PhD.
- UK and international students are eligible.
- Proposed research must focus on Scots private law.
Value of Edinburgh Legal Education Trust LLM by Research (LLMR) Scholarships:
