The CNR Building Futures Scholarship, 2026, is to help students in communities near Canadian Natural field operations.
Eligibility criteria:
- The applicant must be an Indigenous student from a community close to Canadian Natural operations or the child or dependant of a Canadian Natural employee (spouses are not eligible). Applicants who identify as Indigenous must submit documentation of their status, such as a letter from local authorities or formal identification.
- Applicants of the CNR Building Futures Scholarship, 2026 must be residents of Western Canada (British Columbia, Alberta, or Saskatchewan) for a minimum of one year before application.
- Applicants from communities where Canadian Natural has operations will be given more preference.
- Candidates must have a Canadian Social Insurance Number.
- Candidates must be studying subjects related to the oil and natural gas industry and those supporting the communities where such operations occur.
- An applicant can make only one application per year.
- Candidates applying for the CNR Building Futures Scholarship, 2026 must maintain an average of C+ or 75% in their courses.
