Eligibility:

You're eligible if:

  • you are enrolled in one of the following programs -
    • Bachelor of Veterinary Technology
    • Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Honours)
    • Bachelor of Agricultural Science
    • Bachelor of Agribusiness
    • Bachelor of Wildlife Science
  • you are or will be undertaking a placement in a regional, rural or remote area in the year of the award. 

Selection criteria:

We'll consider:

  • evidence of financial hardship, and
  • the quality and relevance of the proposed placement, as outlined in a proposal included in your application. 

About this scholarship:

Established in 2025 and maintained by the proceeds of the Graham and Valmai Burnett Fund (Douglas Fund).
