The International Excellence Awards 2027 invite architects, designers, studios and students worldwide to enter built and conceptual projects in 11 categories, from architecture and interiors to product, fashion and AI-powered design.
The International Excellence Awards were founded in 2025 by Architecture & Design Community, and the 2027 edition is the programme’s third season.
Winners receive a personalised certificate, a custom award logo, a banner kit for social media and a dedicated winner’s page on the awards website with a studio card and contact details. Trophies are available to order separately.
The organizers are looking for built or conceptual projects up to seven years old.
Entries are grouped into 11 categories with 240 nominations in total:
- Architecture
- Interior
- Landscape
- Fashion
- Furniture
- Lighting
- Packaging
- Product
- Transportation
- Communication
- AI-Powered Innovation
The AI-Powered Innovation category covers projects created fully or partially with AI, from AI-generated architectural concepts and AI-driven interior space planning to generative AI for furniture, luminaire and packaging design.
Judging is blind, with entrant information removed. Each juror scores every project independently on a 1-10 scale against three criteria:
- Innovation & Originality
- Design & Aesthetic Quality
- Functionality & Spatial Integration
The award level (Platinum, Gold, Silver or Bronze) depends on the project’s average score against fixed thresholds, not on its rank against other entries, so the number of winners per category is not fixed. The 2027 jury includes architects and designers from Brazil, Egypt, Thailand and the USA.
