Eligibility for Washington State University International Merit Award:
Undergraduate degree-seeking students with F-1 visas now enrolled in the Pullman campus who satisfy at least one of the following requirements are eligible to apply for this scholarship:
- Cumulative GPA of 3.60 or above with a minimum of 12 WSU credits, or
- Unusual service to the university or community in the last 2 years, or
- Other extraordinary work or achievement in the last 2 years
Application Process:
Candidates have to fill out an application form to apply for the scholarship and have to submit the following (if they are claiming extraordinary service or achievement):
- A personal letter describing your unusual service to the community or extraordinary work or achievement, and
- Letter of recommendation from an advisor, a professor, or an official program administrator confirming your service or achievement.
Note: If a student satisfies the requirements of a 3.6 overall GPA and 12 WSU credits, no further documentation is needed.
Value of the Scholarship: USD 2,000 tuition waiver per semester.
