Eligibility:
You’re eligible if you:
- are an Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person
- can demonstrate financial hardship
- are enrolled in an Approved Program in the semester of the award.
Selection criteria:
We'll consider:
- demonstrated financial need
- personal qualities including leadership potential
- academic ability
- any other matter considered relevant to your future academic success
Preference will be given to applicants who are from a Regional, Rural or Remote area.
In the event that there are no eligible students, the Scholarship may be awarded to a student enrolled in a health related program.

Established in 2023 under the Queensland Commitment initiative and maintained by the income from a gift of $50,000 by the McColl Family.
