‘Fragments, Space for Art and Memory’, through the Ministry of Culture and the National Museum of Colombia, invites Colombian or international visual artists to carry out an artistic intervention in the museum. The artistic intervention must recognise and dialogue with the space of the museum, which explores the complexity of conflict in Colombia.
The proposed projects must be unique, situated within the context of contemporary art and propose critical reflections on the multiple memories of conflict, not only in the Colombian context, but also in other parts of the world.
Visual artists, or artists with a transdisciplinary practice, Colombian or international, who have more than 10 years of continuous professional experience (such as with exhibitions, catalogues, art books or other types of artistic and cultural publications) can apply. Applicants may present themselves individually or as a constituted group or collective. In the case of constituted groups or collectives, at least 50% of its members must certify an artistic career of more than 10 continuous years at a professional.
A fee of 160,000,000 COP will be awarded for the successful project.
