The selection will minimally consider academic achievement of the applicant(s) and extracurricular activity history of the applicant(s).
The recipient(s) shall minimally meet the following criteria:
Recipient(s) will be full-time junior and/or senior level undergraduate student(s) majoring in Mechanical Engineering within the College of Engineering at Michigan State University.
Recipient(s) shall be current and active member(s) of the American Society of Mechanical Engineering (ASME).
Recipient(s) shall be citizen(s) or permanent resident(s) of the United States of America.
Recipients will be students who have graduated from a high school located in either the State of Michigan or California.
Recipients will have participated in any one of the following activities:
Boy Scouts or Girl Scouts
An organized team sport such as Little League, or high school sports, including Girls Athletic Association.
A musical organization such as youth or high school band, orchestra, choir, or vocal group.
4-H Club.
Recipients of this scholarship shall not be children or dependents of faculty or staff currently employed at MSU.
