The Evelyn and Robert Scheffel Undergraduate Business Scholarship

The Evelyn and Robert Scheffel scholarship was established in memory of Evelyn’s parents, Albert and Mary Goodrich. Mr. and Mrs. Goodrich were founders of Goodrich’s Spartan Shop Rite store in East Lansing and while themselves were unable to attend college, they always recognized the opportunity that came with a higher education degree. With this in mind, Evelyn and her husband Robert endow this scholarship so that others might avail themselves of furthering their education at Michigan State University in the Eli Broad College of Business.
Scholarship minimum criteria for consideration: Financial needs may be considered but is not required. Per donor agreement, the recipient should have a foreign language and national cultures study in their curriculum.
