Description

The Munster Literature Centre is accepting submissions for its poetry competitions.

Fool for Poetry Chapbook/Pamphlet Competition

  • Open to new, emerging, and established poets from any country.
  • Manuscripts must be between 16 and 24 pages in length.
  • Top Prize of €1000, publication of chapbook, accommodation, and reading slot at Cork International Poetry Festival.
  • Deadline: August 31st.

Southword Editor’s Poetry Award

  • €1000 for best three-poem entry.
  • All entries receive a complementary subscription to the journal Southword.
  • Deadline: September 30th.

  • First Prize of €2000 for best single poem, publication in Southword.
