The Prisma Art Prize is now accepting submissions for its 19th edition, open to painters, illustrators, printmakers and all traditional 2D artists.
Prisma Art Prize celebrates the many directions painting can take today – traditional or experimental, intimate or bold – always with a focus on strong visual research.
The winner of the 19th edition of the Prisma Art Prize will be awarded with a 500 Euro cash prize. In addition, three finalists will be awarded with an Honorable mention, which consists in an interview curated by Prisma Art Prize.
Works of painting, drawing, and engraving of any size and on any medium are allowed. The competition is open to artists without limitation of age or place of origin.
An open number of finalists artists will exhibit in the collective exhibition at Contemporary Cluster and will be featured in the 5th year Catalogue.
The organizer’s goal is to act as a prism that reveals the spectrum of artistic expression.
All the finalist artists in the quarterly editions are also eligible for the following prizes:
- Collective exhibition at Contemporary Cluster
- Publication in the Award Catalog published by Il Varco edition
- Dar Meso Art Residency Prize, consisting of a residency at Dar Meso, an artistic institution based in the heart of Tunis, to take place in 2026/2027
- Casacon Art Residency Prize, consisting of a residency at Casacon Sirolo, Marche, Italy, to take place in 2026/2027
- Pallavicini-Dettori Home Show Prize, consisting of a personal exhibition for an artist in the Home Gallery of Pallavicini – Dettori collectors, to take place in 2026/2027
- Isorrophia Gallery Prize, consisting of a solo exhibition for an artist organized by Isorrophia Gallery, to take place in 2026/2027

Prisma Art Prize – Rome – 19th Edition – Submission Fees
The submission fee is 34 Euro (for 1-3 works). You can submit up to 8 additional works at a price of 5 Euro per piece.
