Eligibility:
You are eligible, if you:
- submit an application by the closing date
- intend to enrol or are currently enrolled in an Honours program in one of the following areas:
- Quantum
- Compound semi-conductors
- Superconductors
- Photonics
- Micro-electromechanical systems
- are an international or domestic student in accordance with The University’s Fee Policy.
Selection criteria:
We'll consider:
- your proposed research project, travel plans and research development goals in one of the relevant fields: quantum; compound semi-conductors; superconductors; photonics; or micro-electromechanical systems
- the strength of your personal statement outlining why you deserve the scholarship
- giving preference to students who identify as women, are non-binary, are of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander descent, or are from rural, remote and regional areas.
Note:
The selection committee will aim to award 50% of the scholarships to successful candidates who identify as women, non-binary, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander persons and/or those who identify as being from a regional, rural or remote background.
