A working knowledge of materials, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, physics, and chemistry would be of benefit to someone working on this project.
You will demonstrate academic achievement in the field/s of structural materials, materials degradation and fracture, steels, fracture mechanics, hydrogen embrittlement, hydrogen interactions with nanostructural and microstructural features in steels and the potential for scholastic success.
A background or knowledge of materials degradation and fracture, steels, fracture mechanics, and hydrogen embrittlement is highly desirable.
