Who may enter
The competition is open to anyone aged 18 and above.
Short description
The competition is organized by the Alpine Fellowship, a charitable foundation based in London.
This years theme is: Language.
All genres of writing are permitted, including fiction, non-fiction and non-academic essays.
Stories must be written in English. Entries should be no more than 2,500 words.Â
Text must not have been published, self-published or accepted for publication in print or online, or have won or been placed in another competition at any time.
Entry fee
The competition is free to enter.
Prize
The winner will receive a cash prize of ÂŁ3,000.
