UNU-MERIT Diploma in Migration Management 2025
Applications are open for the UNU MERIT Migration Management Diploma Programme (MMDP) 2025. This program is designed for government officials and policymakers working in migration and asylum. This full-time three-month program uses various teaching and evaluation methods, including lectures, interactive sessions, and hands-on practical exercises, with a special focus on the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) method.
The MMDP aims to develop theoretical knowledge of migration management and practical skills such as articulation and presentation. Overall, the course equips participants with new skills and insights, offering practical and interactive experiences in applying the latest knowledge in the field of migration management.
Moreover, MMDP provides a platform for networking through field trips across Europe. These include tours of Dutch Ministries in The Hague, EU institutions in Brussels, and the UN and other intergovernmental agencies in Geneva. This experience offers participants insights into national, regional, and international perspectives on migration management.
Program Structure
