Institution: National Medical Fellowships Inc.
Purpose: To aid minority medical students who are in need of emergency funding.
Eligibility: Applicants must be African-American, Latino, Native American, Alaska Natives, Native Hawaiians, Vietnamese or Cambodian. They must be third- or fourth-year medical students who are in need of immediate, emergency funding for living expenses and/or tuition. Selection is based on the overall strength of the application.
