The home" THE FREIHOF " hosts 52 under-age children aged between 3 and 18 years old, and young adults up to 21 years old, within the scope of educational assistance, decided on by the children's judge, when the child’s health, the education, personal and relational developments seem to be compromised in his family circle. One of our objectives is to give the children occasions to reconcile them with themselves and with the others and to gain in confidence. The Freihof puts also flats at the disposal of families. The following activities will be offered to the volunteer: • helping out the children with their homework • participating in organizing leisure activities • participating in organizing cultural outings and excursions A part of the volunteer’s schedule will be dedicated to the children’s accompaniment: • Taking the children to school, to the doctor’s or to associations and sports clubs • Sharing meals • Assisting the children at bedtime
