COAL organizes since 2010 the COAL Prize Art and Environment. It rewards every year a contemporary artist involved in environmental issues. The laureate is nominated from among ten nominees, selected as part of an international call for projects, by a jury of personalities from the world of contemporary art, research, ecology and sustainable development.
