The Belgian American Educational Foundation (BAEF) is the leading independent philanthropy in the support of exchanging university students, scientists, and scholars between the United States and Belgium. Through its Exchange Fellowship Program, the BAEF offers numerous fellowships for Belgian citizens for graduate study or research in the United States. The Fellowships are outright non-renewable grants for one academic year. Up to $60,000 will be awarded; a $20,000 stipend and up to $40,000 for tuition and health insurance. Applicants should not have obtained their first Bachelor's degree before January 1, 2020. Fellows are expected to stay in the U.S.A. for a full academic year (nine months) at a top university.

Eligibility: Applicants must: hold Belgian citizenship hold a master's degree at the time of activation of the fellowship submit official transcripts as evidence of an outstanding bachelor's or master's degree record submit an application to a graduate program in the US have a good command of English & submit by November 15 a TOEFL iBT score of >100/120 or IELTS > 7.5/9 submit GRE test results (VR>155, QR>155, AW>3.5) or GMAT test results (VR>38, QR>44, AW>4, IR>6, total >700)
