The Queensland University of Technology is offering a scholarship for future postgraduate students applying for an MBA in the QUT Business School in Australia.

Eligibility criteria:

You must:

  1. be applying to study with our Graduate School of Business for the first time
  2. apply for and be accepted into our Master of Business Administration (MBA).

Selection criteria:

The Scholarships Committee will assess your application based on your:

  1. GMAT score
  2. previous grade point average (GPA)
  3. work history
  4. personal statement of no more than 1,000 words
  5. detailed CV
  6. referee reports.

Academic entry requirements:

  1. A completed recognized bachelor degree in any discipline with a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 4.5 (on QUT's 7-point scale).
  2. A GMAT score of at least 550.
  3. A minimum of three years full-time equivalent relevant managerial or professional work experience post-degree.
  4. Submit two completed referee report forms.
  5. You may be required to be available for an interview with the MBA Director to demonstrate relevant work experience.
  6. Minimum English language requirements:
    • IELTS Academic: 6.5
    • TOEFL iBT: 79

What you'll Receive:

You'll receive one of:

  1. a tuition fee waiver scholarship, covering a quarter, half or all of your tuition fees
  2. a merit scholarship, awarded at:
    • $500 for a GMAT score of 600-699
    • $1,000 for a GMAT score of 700 or more.
  3. If you receive a tuition fee waiver scholarship, you won't be eligible for a merit scholarship.
